Since 1971 in the service of your health: M.&M. Werding

From the founding until now ...

A concept wins through. On April 1, 1971, the physiotherapy practice was established by Maria and Maximilian Werding, with their son Thomas joining the company after his excellent finals. Following periods of continuous vocational training, commercial and structural expansion, special training in the area of rehabilitation, and the installation of new equipment, the practice was licensed by the mutual indemnity association in 1995 to carry out extended outpatient physiotherapy (EAP).

Licences to perform outpatient rehabilitation subsequent to trauma and orthopaedic surgery then followed from all health insurance funds. In the autumn of 1995 an academy with leading lecturers was founded to carry out the advanced training in physiotherapy and rehabilitation therapy stipulated for physiotherapists, masseurs, medical spa therapists and graduate sports instructors by the funding agencies.

Several research results have already ensued from the close scientific collaboration between the Fresenius Physiotherapy College in Idstein – directed by Prof. Dr. Hanno Felder – and the Kreuzberg Rehabilitation Centre. Students of the "PHYSIOTHERAPIE (Bachelor Sc.)" degree course at the University of Applied Science Fresenius Idstein undergo their practical clinical training at the Kreuzberg outpatient rehab centre in Merzig.

The team of rehabilitation therapists has received thorough training in all rehabilitation concepts relevant to their specialist areas. In addition to the rehabilitation centre's senior doctors, the team consists of representatives from a variety of occupational groups, and includes physiotherapists, masseurs and medical spa therapists, graduate sports instructors and nutritional advisors.

Successful therapy is provided for traumatological, orthopaedic and surgical illnesses. Given the therapists' specialist qualifications, and the centre's size and equipment, therapy is also provided for internal and neurological illnesses. The collaboration of all relevant professionals on the rehabilitation team allows for an integral, interdisciplinary approach.

Traumatic, orthopedic and surgical illnesses are therapied with success. Since the technical qualification of the therapy team is excellent and the size of the interior is given, also internal and neurological illnesses are treated. The co-operation of all relevant occupational groups of the Reha-team builds an interdisciplinary and entire base.

Beside its new therapeutic aeas, the Reahzentrum Kreuzberg has another own parking place with 16 additional parking bays which makes a total of 42 available bays.
